The Rodgers Family - Prayer Needs

We are humbled that so many people will take the time to pray for our family, our team, our work, and our people.  We are convinced that we can not do all that we do without God's people praying for us all.  Thank you so much.

Prayer Requests for the Rodgers family

Sept. Prayer Requests:
Thank you for praying for us last month. We could definitely feel your prayers.  All 3 of our children started school and are doing well.  Plus we are all surviving with Zach being away from us for college.  It sure does help that he loves it so much.
Please pray for us as we travel to Richmond, VA twice this month.  Once for Contingency training and the other time for our stateside conference to debrief the last 4 1/2 years of our life.
Continue to pray for Zach, Justin, and Hannah as they grow in wisdom and stature.
Pray for us as we share with others all that God is doing in Zambia.
Sept. 10th is our 22nd wedding anniversary!  Pray that God would continue to lead and guide us in our marriage and that He would stay in the center of it at all times.

August Prayer Requests:
Please pray for us as we settle back into life in America.
Zach has a lot to do before going to Liberty Aug. 18th.  We are sad he is going to be away from us but know that this is what God has in store for him now.  Pray for us all through this process.
Justin will begin home schooling this month.  This will be an adjustment for him after being at RVA.
Hannah is going to a public school.  After her first couple of days she still likes it.  Pray she will continue to grow in wisdom and stature.
Kevin is trying to learn German in his spare time for his PHD.  Pray he will get this done quickly.  He is also continuing his job as ACSL(from a distance).

July Prayer Requests;

We have two more weeks to pack our belongings up because we leave Zambia on the 15th of July to go to Nairobi,  Kenya for our son Zachs graduation on the 17th.  Then on the 20th of July we board a plane and travel to America for our stateside assignment for 8 months.  This is a lot of transition for our family during this month so we ask for your prayers as we travel and settle into Garner, NC.  As soon as we arrive there is much to do to get our daughter into 4th grade, Zach into Liberty University, and begin home schooling Justin.  I get tired just thinking about it.  So please, as you think of us pray for our family.

June Praises and Prayer Requests:
Praise God for a good finish to 40/40.  Also, everyone made it back to their countries safely.  Please continue to pray for them as they begin language study and ministry.
Pray for Zach and Justin to have a great mid-term break.  Zach will be traveling to Mombasa with his senior class.  Pray for lots of good memories to be made.
Hannah and I will finish up school the first week of June.  Yay!!
This month we will begin packing up our house as we prepare for our stateside assignment in July.  There are so many loose ends that we have to take care of as we prepare to leave for 8 months.  Pray we will not forget anything and that we will be disciplined with our time.  We will also be traveling out to the Western part of Zambia to visit with some of our missionaries serving there.  Pray we will be an encouragement to all we come in contact with.

Mitchell Family
Praise:  Ellen Ruiz has now joined us and is running our Baptist Guest House.  She is definitely an answer to much prayer.
