GREATER LUSAKA AREA TEAM PRAYER LETTER 2-8 April 2009

PRAYER FOCUS FOR THE WEEK: On Friday the Baptist Mission family will travel south from Lusaka to Siavonga on Lake Kariba for their Annual Missionary Training Meeting, AMTM, 3 to 8 April. Pray for the Mission family as we come together for fellowship, prayer, Bible study, worship and instruction through the next Wednesday. This is one of two times that the whole Mission gets together each year. The other time is our annual prayer retreat. There will be Vacation Bible School for the children led by a team of 14 volunteers from various states. Pray for safety as we travel to and from Siavonga. There are major changes taking place in the International Mission Board’s approach to mission work around the world. Pray that as missionaries we will understand and adapt to the changes. Pray that the Lord will bless the Mission family during the annual meeting and that we will take the opportunity to get to know each other better and show the Lord’s love to each other.
